Why didn’t Nvidia FIX THIS?

Why didn’t Nvidia FIX THIS? i don't need to deliver this rally because this intro seems really sexual whoa that's you reading into it man that's not come on baby let's get our tech news off alex please nvidia's rtx 3080 is still in very short supply but that might be for the best because many users have been reporting the card randomly crashing during gameplay an investigation revealed the problem is caused by capacitors on some factory overclock cards from add-in board partners and not a vengeful ghost sent by lisa sue it appears once the gpu's boost clock gets above about 2 gigahertz it can overload the capacitors causing a crash after the report was initially posted on a hardware site evga said they were indeed having problems with certain capacitors during testing limiting the boost clock manually seems to solve the issue but it's certainly disappointing for those who plunk down extra cash for an overclocked card it's not like a capacitor issue can ...

Microsoft's making PS5 games..?

Microsoft's making PS5 games..?   - Now I know that tech news can be scary, but courage is not the absence of fear. Blah-blah, take my hand andwe'll be scared together. - [Director] Very loud, Linus. - Microsoft just became adeveloper of PlayStation games. The company is buying Zenimax media, the parent company ofBethesda, Arkane Studios and Id Software, for $7.5 billion in cash. This means that "Fallout","The Elder Scrolls", 4 "Dishonored", "Quake", "Doom" and more are all going to becomeMicrosoft properties. Even more interestingly,it means Microsoft now owns the developers behind a pairof PlayStation Five exclusives, "Deathloop" and "Ghostwire Tokyo". Strangely, this isn'teven that out of character for Microsoft as of late. The company just doesn'tseem to give a (bleep) about whether gamers usetheir products on Xbox or their products somewhere else. I just hope there won't besome software lock...

Did Microsoft Steal Disk Compression?

Did Microsoft Steal Disk Compression? This is Microsoft DOS 6. I love an operating system in a big box. It's the least you expect for a piece of softwarethat's so significant. But look a little closer and you'll see somethingMicrosoft wanted us to know about. Something they wanted us to see. // Thanks to SquareSpace for sponsoring this  // Yes, Microsoft were so pleased with this technology, they plonked it in a bright red star. That's right, for one reasonable price, younot only get a brand spanking new operating system, you can also conveniently double theamount of hard drive space you have! Well, I'm sold. Microsoft may have been keen to show it off,but this wasn't new technology, at least, not in the greater world of software. You see, in the first two decades of the IBMPC & compatibles, hard disk space was at a premium. In the early 80s, 10MB was a very significantamount of storage. By the early 90s, 100MB was a very significant amount  of storage, b...

Windows’ Hidden Self Destruct Code

Windows’ Hidden Self Destruct Code I come bearing good news. Today's sponsor, Fasthosts have gone all out,   and are offering one lucky person a dream PC setup worth up to five grand! There's a question you need to answer, so stay tuned and I'll ask it later! Imagine it's 1992 and rather than installing a fresh copy of MS-DOS 5.0 on your computer like a   good little person, you instead opted for a rival OS. All seemed dnady, until you went to install   Windows 3.1, and then you received THIS horrific error message.  [panicked screams of disarray] Hello there, I'm Nostalgia Nerd, and today, we're looking at the AARD Code. If you watched my last video, you may be getting some dejavu, because we're back   on the subject of Digital Research DOS. What a time to be alive. Digital Research,   once the industry leader in Operating Systems had, by 1990, been on the back-foot for about 10 years;   ever since Microsoft Gazumped them...

OUR FAVORITE CRAB CAKES RECIPE + DIPPING SAUCE

OUR FAVORITE CRAB CAKES RECIPE + DIPPING SAUCE   - Hey everybody,   I love seafood andtoday I'm gonna teach you how to make the ultimate crab cakes.  And you're gonna love this dipping sauce. These are better than anyrestaurant version I've tried. They're  so good, let's get started. We'll start with some quick prep. Finely dice one medium onion. You should  have aboutone cup of diced onion. Also finely dice one halfof a red bell pepper. Place a large skillet  over medium heat and add one tablespoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add your finely dicedonions  and bell pepper. Saute those together forabout seven to nine minutes or until they're golden and soft.  Stir that occasionally to make sure your veggies are cooking evenly. And when they're done, take them  off the heatand set it aside to cool. Now in a large mixingbowl, crack two large eggs. Also add three  tablespoonsof mayo and mayo is the secret ingredientto keep th...

How to Make Perfect POACHED EGGS

How to Make Perfect POACHED EGGS - Hey, everyone. I'm gonna show you how to make perfect poached eggs.  This is so easy to do. You don't need any fancy equipment, and you'll be a pro in no time.  So let's get started. (bell dings) With a medium sauce panlike the one I have here,  you can poach one to four eggs at a time. If you want to poach more than that,  you'll need a larger sauce pan, and you'll need to work quickly. I'm using large cold eggs, right out of the refrigerator. Crack the eggs into individual ramekins. Fresh eggs work best  to make poached eggs, because they hold their shape better, and they have less excess  whitesoutside the egg white sack. Those excess whites are what causes thestringing in the water.  If you're using older, store-bought eggs, here's a great tip. Crack the eggs over a fine mesh sieve  before transferring it to the ramekin, so you can strain off that free liquid outside the egg white sack.  This...
